Session Fees
The fee for a 55 minute session is $150. Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card via a secure client portal.
I currently accept United, Oscar, Optum, and Aetna insurance. Insurance billing is managed through Headway. Visit my Headway profile to learn more about utilizing your insurance benefits. I can also provide a superbill for clients to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
It is the client’s responsibility to contact their insurance company to find out about reimbursement for in-network or out-of-network providers.
Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are charged the full session rate. Other fees may include parents consultations sessions, document preparation, letter-writing, and court-related involvement or appearances.
Good Faith Estimate Standard Notice
The Federal No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – effective January 1, 2022) provides consumers the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have certain types of health care coverage or who are not using certain types of health care coverage an estimate of their bill for health care items and services before those items or services are provided.
- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any health care items or services upon request or when scheduling such items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
- Upon request, Good Faith Estimates are provided within one business day after scheduling if the appointment is within three days. If the appointment is more than 10 days away, the Good Faith Estimate is provided within three business days. You can also ask any health care provider or facility for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more for any provider or facility than your Good Faith Estimate from that provider or facility, you can dispute the bill.
- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate and the bill.
