I am passionate about helping people who feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed by their past pain, present circumstances or future decisions. My compassionate approach helps clients unravel the internal knots that anxiety and depression have created. Clients learn to understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful thoughts or habits, and feel empowered to make changes that ultimately lead to a healthier, more balanced life.

Young Adults
I work with young adults who feel overwhelmed by pressure and anxiety about their current and future decisions. Whatever stage of young adulthood you’re in (about the graduate, working, or starting a family), you can find support and the gain the tools you need to have peace and confidence as you make decisions for your present circumstances and future self.
Trauma Survivors
Whether you experienced trauma years ago or recently, counseling can help you process the emotional residue that is often left in its wake. Trauma impacts emotional regulation, self-esteem, and can lead to increased anxiety or depression. I use research-supported practices and create a warm, non-judgmental environment so that you can heal from the trauma that has negatively impacted your life.
Moms
As a mom, you’re juggling so much—and it’s okay to admit when it feels like too much. Whether you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or just not like yourself, you’re not alone. Counseling can give you a space to breathe, reflect, and get the support you deserve. Taking care of your mental health is one of the most important ways you can care for yourself and your family.

What To Expect: Research & Warmth
Counseling is a flexible, collaborative process tailored to your unique needs, goals, and preferences. I provide a compassionate, supportive space where you can safely explore your challenges while also taking practical steps toward a more present and fulfilling life.
My approach draws from evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Through our work together, you’ll deepen your self-understanding, explore the connection between your mind and body, and build skills to navigate emotions with greater awareness, acceptance, and balance.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based approach that helps people heal from the effects of trauma, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. During EMDR, you’ll gently process memories, thoughts, and emotions while engaging in bilateral stimulation (often guided eye movements).
This process supports your brain in reprocessing difficult experiences so they feel less overwhelming, allowing you to move toward a greater sense of calm and emotional ease. Additional information about EMDR can be found here.
DBT
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) blends behavioral science with mindfulness practices to support both acceptance and change. At its core, DBT helps you learn to accept yourself and your current circumstances while also building new, more effective ways to cope with stress, anxiety, and depression.
In our work together, you’ll develop practical skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and healthy communication, helping you feel more balanced, present, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.
